Abstract:

My resume and cover letter are each one-page paper that states my various skills, accomplishments, and credentials. In my resume, I list my educational background, my technical and language skills, my involvement in various past extracurricular activities, and the honors and awards I have received. The purpose of my resume is to give a brief and detailed evaluation of my abilities and achievements to potential employers to show my qualifications for a position at their company, firm, internship, etc. The cover letter is a letter I wrote to a specific company (Google) about my interest in their internship program. I discuss why I am interested in this internship program and what I can offer to the company as an intern. I have also written my personal information, such as my phone number and email address, on both my resume and cover letter.

I am very excited to be applying for an internship position at Google. As someone with a keen interest in computer science and software engineering, I believe I would be a perfect fit for this opportunity. I believe my knowledge and experience with surface-level coding and software engineering can provide some assistance with various projects. I am thrilled at the prospect of the experiences I will gain through my participation in this program.

I have some experience coding on JavaScript, a coding language. This can allow me to begin working on programs quicker in this internship since I already have experience coding. I am also capable of using various computer applications such as spreadsheets, Powerpoint, and Word. Additionally, I have participated in many groups and team-related activities, such as being part of a golf team and school clubs. I believe my experience with communicating and working in groups with other people can be applicable and beneficial to the tasks I will perform in this internship.
